The Kettle I Did Not Expect to Love This Much

I was not looking for anything fancy when I bought this kettle. At 130 dirhams, I was simply replacing what we had. But this turned out to be one of those unexpected brilliant buys that genuinely makes me happy every single time I use it.

The reason I chose it comes down to one thing. No plastic.

Every single part of this kettle that your water touches is stainless steel. No plastic interior, no plastic spout, no plastic lid lining. Just clean stainless steel from start to finish. For anyone who is mindful about what goes into their body, that matters enormously. Boiling water draws chemicals out of plastic faster than anything else. So an electric stainless steel kettle with no plastic contact was non-negotiable for me.

Beautiful and Practical

But here is what I did not expect. It is also genuinely beautiful. The matte black body paired with the wooden handle is such a stunning combination. It sits on our kitchen counter and looks intentional. It looks like a choice, not just an appliance.

The functionality is excellent too. It is 2200W so it boils quickly. It has four temperature settings via an LED touch screen, which is great for herbal teas and coffee at different temperatures. Additionally, it has auto shut-off, boil dry protection and overheating protection built in. So it is as safe as it is stylish.

The 1.7 litre capacity is generous enough for two people without being bulky.

This is exactly the kind of home reset I love. A small, intentional swap that improves your daily routine and makes your space look and feel better at the same time.
