The First Thing We Bought for Our Dubai Kitchen

When we moved to Dubai, one of the first things we sorted out was a proper set of steak knives. We eat a lot of meat, so this was not optional. Andrew and I both wanted something that would last without costing a fortune, and the Victorinox Swiss Classic steak knife set delivered exactly that.

I will be honest. I originally had my eye on the multicoloured set because I loved the look of it. But when I compared the options, this black set of six offered the best value for money by far. So practical won over pretty, and I have never regretted it.

The blades are stainless steel and the handles are polypropylene, making them lightweight and comfortable to hold. Each knife is 11cm in blade length, which is a great practical size for meat at the table. Additionally, the serrated edge means they cut cleanly every time without tearing.
